    Description: This practical session gives students hands on training in the use of a component DAN oxygen unit and its component parts (demand inhalator valve, non-rebreather mask and pocket mask with supplemental oxygen) for breathing and non-breathing victims. (DAN Oxygen Provider Course is a pre-requisite for the DAN On-Site Neuro Course on Sun.)
If taking both DAN Oxygen Provider and DAN On-Site Neuro, class price will be $125.00 for both courses.

Digital Underwater Photography

    Description: This in-depth workshop will explore methods for taking dynamic digital underwater images. Topics will include: getting a good exposure, focus tips, overcoming shutter delay, shooting RAW, close-up and macro tips, maximizing wide-angle, minimizing backscatter, adding accessory lenses, understanding white balance and reef protection. There will be added information regarding digital work flow and digital media storage.

Hands-On Underwater Photoshop

    Description: This 3-hour workshop will be hands-on with Photoshop. Each person attending will be required to bring a laptop computer loaded with either Photoshop7, CS, CS2 or CS3. A selection of sample underwater images will be distributed and we will work together correcting them. Samples will include some of the biggest problems that plague underwater photographers, so you can then apply what you’ve learned to your own images. Students should bring six images for editing during the last hours, if time allows.

DAN On-Site Neuro Assessment

    Description: Learn how to conduct a neurological assessment on a potentially injured diver. With your underwater camera and home computer you too can produce a professional looking video.
